Interdisziplinär mit Tänzer:innen, Performer:innen, bildenden Künstler:innen, Theoretiker:innen und Philosoph:innen besetzt, möchte co>labs eine gesellschaftliche Plattform entwickeln, um zu untersuchen, welche demokratische Gesellschaft übrig geblieben sein wird und wie sie sich wieder neu finden kann.

Master Thesis & Installation

Strange Presence. Probings from the Future is considering hypothetical utopian realities in other times and/or places. A story is created about a visitor from an abstract time. The visitor remains hidden, but he leaves traces of his findings, image-artifacts from our current time, that have been looked at and possibly transformed by a glimpse of eyes originating in the future. The laser cut images are abstractions of contemporary persons such as Angela Merkel, representing memory slices stored away from someone looking at our current time from a future perspective.
